Ryan Ward Hired as New Head Coach of CYA Boys 15U Team

The Chicago Young Americans proudly announce the hiring of Ryan Ward as their new head coach for the Boys 15U Team.

Ward previously served as the video coach for the New York Islanders (2008 – 2012), and Toronto Maple Leafs (2014 – 2016).  Most recently Ward served as the Head Coach & Director of Player Personnel for the Selects Hockey Academy 15U team at the South Kent School in South Kent, Connecticut. 

Ryan Ward, of Assonet, Massachusetts, led one of the top programs in the country this season, the Selects Hockey Academy’s 15U squad.  The team finished the season with a Regional Championship and final record of 54-9-3. 

Ryan served as an Assistant Coach for the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) for the 2018 - 2019 season and was an assistant coach for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) from 2016 - 2018.

Ryan was recently selected to be the Director of Player Development for the USHL’s Tri-City Storm,
